Built in 1895.
Reimagined for today.
Built in 1895, the house and its farm buildings are rooted in an agricultural heritage. The farm and the garden are maintained organically. The interiors are furnished with an eclectic mix that reflects a lifetime of travel and integrating found treasures from local brocantes.
The mission has always been the same. To offer guests a stay that feels personal, purposeful and charming. Not a holiday from your life but a reminder of how you'd like to live it. Sustainability here isn't a label, it's the architecture, the food, the rhythm of the days.
Resurrection
A farmhouse built in 1895 and left to its history now breathing again, its stones, beams and bones restored to the life they were always meant to hold.
Reuse
Every object at Masmontet has clear provenance. Sourced from local brocantes or collected on travels abroad. Always chosen for character and placed with the intention that nothing here should be disposable, including the experience itself.
Revival
Old trades, forgotten rhythms and the quiet art of seasonal living have been brought back to the fore. Not as nostalgia but as a genuinely better way to be.
Regeneration
The land is farmed organically, the energy comes from the sun, and guests leave a little more restored than when they arrived — which is, in the end, the whole point.
